Mail Pro

Last updated: 4 September 2026

Plain terms for a small app made by one person. Using Mail Pro means you accept them.

What Mail Pro is

Mail Pro is an email client for iPhone and iPad, made and maintained by Ignacio Divasson, an individual developer in Spain. It connects to mail accounts you already have. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Google.

Your accounts stay yours

Mail Pro acts on your mailbox on your instructions, through access you grant with your own Google account. Your relationship with your mail provider — including their terms, their privacy policy and the state of your account — is between you and them. You can revoke Mail Pro's access at any time from your Google account.

The AI features, and your own key

The AI features run on Google's Gemini API using an API key you supply. You are responsible for that key: for keeping it to yourself, for any cost your Google Cloud project incurs, and for complying with Google's terms for it. I have no access to your key and no visibility into your usage or billing.

AI-generated text is a suggestion, not a fact. Summaries can miss things, drafts can be wrong, and extracted dates can be off by a year. Read what it wrote before you send it. You are responsible for every message that leaves your mailbox, whoever drafted it.

Use it sensibly

Don't use Mail Pro to send spam or unlawful material, to access a mailbox you have no right to, or to break the law of wherever you are. Don't try to reverse the app's protections or use it to harm other people's accounts.

No warranty

Mail Pro is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. I can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, that a message will always send, or that a background refresh will always fire on time — parts of that are up to iOS and to Google, not to me. Keep anything critical somewhere other than a single app on a single phone.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Mail Pro — including lost mail, a missed message, or a reply you sent without reading it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you're a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Price and availability

Mail Pro is distributed through the App Store, subject to Apple's terms. I may change what the app does, or stop distributing it, in a future version. If a version stops working for you, you can always take your mail with you — it lives in your Google account, not in this app.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version applies from the release that follows it.

Governing law

Spanish law governs these terms. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in.
